A big challenge of our age is to overcome the effects of foreign architecture streaming in together with foreign capital. The building that purely covers space (a metal box) has evolved through decades as a result of a persistent business policy, together with the elements, advertisements reflecting the company`s identity. While this rational architecture is customary by the motorways, it is unacceptable in a city. The locals expect an appearance that respects the environment, while the investors require rational, simplistic solutions which serve purely operational purposes. We endeavoured to reconcile the different interests by arcitectural tools. The interiors are subordinated to the realization of the business strategy. A conspicuous feature of the facade is that the clinker-clad monolithic surfaces are divided by supporters: pillars and attics. The use of the same materials can be observed on numerous other buildings on Bécsi road. With the windows of the offices, which are reminiscent of barcodes, we referred to the building`s function.
